Three Ways To Manage Diabetes

The National Diabetes Education stated that diabetics should follow the ABC’s to effectively manage their illness. This ABC’s is said to be the three critical factors that diabetics should work out with a health care team. These are:

1.    A1C Test: A1C is advised to be checked at least twice a year and the ideal figure is less than 7.
2.    Blood Pressure: Similar to the normal people, the blood pressure of a person should be 130/80. High blood pressure is not good since it can cause stroke, heart, attack, and kidney disease.
3.    Cholesterol: Good cholesterol should be maintained while bad cholesterol should be avoided. The intake of good cholesterol is essential because this helps in lowering bad cholesterol, which may clog the blood vessels and cause stroke or heart attack.

Specifically, Goji is helpful when it comes to lowering cholesterol levels. This contains eta-sitosterol and anti-oxidants that keep cholesterol from building arterial plaques. Also, Goji increases endurance, stamina, and exercise tolerance. So, by knowing how to manage diabetes, this illness will not be threatening to you.

Hi,
Not sure what Goji is (never heard of it), but suggest being careful about recommending supplements. You never who is reading these articles and what kind of medications they are on… there could be interactions that you don’t realize. Otherwise, seems like good information as far as I have read.
Thanks,
